Day by Day

Day 1|Ambergris Caye

Arrival & Caribbean Welcome

Arrive at Philip Goldson International Airport in Belize City and transfer via private puddle-jumper flight to Ambergris Caye. Check into your oceanfront suite and settle into island pace. This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner of freshly grilled Caribbean lobster and local rum cocktails at the resort's waterside restaurant as the sun sets over the reef.

Day 2|Hol Chan Marine Reserve & Shark Ray Alley

The Barrier Reef

Board your private dive boat for a full day exploring the Belize Barrier Reef. Start at Hol Chan Marine Reserve, one of the most biodiverse reef systems in the Caribbean, where you'll encounter sea turtles, eagle rays, and vibrant coral gardens. After lunch on board, head to Shark Ray Alley to swim alongside nurse sharks and southern stingrays in crystal-clear shallows. Return to your resort for a spa treatment and dinner.

Day 3|Secret Beach & San Ignacio

Island Escape & Inland Transfer

Spend the morning at Secret Beach on the western shore of Ambergris Caye — a tranquil stretch of white sand with shallow turquoise water. Enjoy a private beachside brunch before transferring by air to the Cayo District. Arrive at your jungle lodge in the foothills near San Ignacio, nestled within 400 acres of private nature reserve along the Macal River.

Day 4|Actun Tunichil Muknal, Cayo District

The ATM Cave Experience

Today is the highlight of many Belize journeys. With your private archaeologist guide, wade through jungle rivers and swim into the entrance of Actun Tunichil Muknal — the "Cave of the Crystal Sepulchre." Inside, navigate cathedral-sized chambers filled with ancient Maya pottery, stoneware, and the crystallized remains of human sacrifices. This is one of the most extraordinary archaeological experiences on the planet. Return to your lodge for a restorative dinner under the stars.

Day 5|Xunantunich, San Ignacio

Xunantunich & the Mopan River Valley

Cross the Mopan River by hand-cranked ferry and ascend to the ancient Maya city of Xunantunich. Your guide will bring the site's history to life as you climb El Castillo, the second-tallest structure in Belize, with panoramic views stretching into Guatemala. After the ruins, visit the colorful town of San Ignacio for a local chocolate-making workshop before returning to your lodge for a sunset yoga session and farm-to-table dinner.

Day 6|Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve

Mountain Pine Ridge & Waterfalls

Venture deep into the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve for a day of natural wonder. Hike to Big Rock Falls through pristine forest and swim in the natural pools at the base. Continue to the Rio On Pools — a series of granite pools and cascading waterfalls perfect for a private picnic. Visit the ancient Rio Frio Cave, one of the largest in Belize, before ending the day at Blancaneaux Lodge — Francis Ford Coppola's private retreat — for a farewell dinner of Italian-Belizean fusion cuisine.

Day 7|Belize City

Departure

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking the river valley before your private transfer to Belize City for your international departure. If time permits, stop at the Belize Zoo — a unique wildlife sanctuary housing only native Belizean species — for a final encounter with jaguars, tapirs, and toucans in their natural habitat.
